What we do

OCS Consulting is a leading SAS Consultancy with offices in the Netherlands, the UK, Belgium and Switzerland and is looking to recruit a permanent Junior IT Sales based in the Netherlands. We deliver a range of services from SAS Consulting Services, SAS Environment Support and SAS Software Reseller for our corporate clients.

What you’ll do

Key to this position is that you directly contribute to our long-term relationship with our future and current clients, and the efforts put forth by you will directly impact the value realised and the ultimate success of the business relationship.

As Junior IT Sales you will identifying new business opportunities and be responsible for selling SAS software solutions and our services to prospective clients. You will be leveraging sales opportunities in order to acquire, grow and retain clients.

You will manage a portfolio of clients who have purchased SAS software (and our services) with the goal of supporting our clients - from onboarding through technology adoption and use expansion. Beyond direct interaction with our clients, you will work with our Subject Matter Experts to ensure clients needs are being met.

In short, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying New Business Opportunities / Lead Generation
  • Consultative Selling of SAS software and/or services
  • Developing an understanding of SAS products and services available to help clients adopt and leverage the software to meet their goals and business needs
  • Ensure business sales targets are met from new sales & maintain existing accounts

What we’re looking for

It would be advantageous if you already have some experience with selling (SAS) software, IT Consultancy services and solutions, but at least you should have affinity with IT and software sales with the desire to learn. You are keen to develop your career in an environment where success is recognised and where the opportunities exist to utilise skills across New Business prospecting and Account Management. Ideally the successful candidate will have an IT/Sales background with strong customer facing skills.

Main Requirements of Junior IT Sales:

  • 1-3 years of Sales experienceessential
  • Affinity with IT and software sales - essential
  • Experience with Pre-Sales, Business Development, Account Management – beneficial
  • Experience from Professional Services / Consultancy type organisation – beneficial
  • Previous experience from (SAS) software orientated environments – beneficial
  • Advanced level of communication in Dutch and English (French/German is beneficial)
  • Confident presentation and pitching skills
  • Comfortable when working autonomously and within a team environment.
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Flexibility
