Job Description


We are seeking a dedicated SAS Platform Specialist to join our diverse service desk team, where you will be in direct contact with our customers and be responsible for managing and supporting the SAS platforms that provide critical services to our clients. This role requires a good understanding of SAS products, as well as proficiency in Linux or Windows operating systems. Experience with cloud technologies is an added advantage.

At OCS Consulting we work in a hybrid setup, which means that we work from home, as well as from our office or from a client’s office. We strive to offer people flexibility in their working times. We begin the day with a (virtual) stand up meeting in which the whole team meets and will briefly discuss yesterdays and today’s tasks. Afterwards each team member will focus on their current client. Activities range from solving various incidents to helping customers implementing changes to their environment. When we are at the office, we try to get lunch together or will have a short round of table soccer in the break.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAS-related issues.
  • Ensure the optimal performance and stability of our customers SAS environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAS solutions.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices for the SAS environment.
  • Direct contact with clients, both technical and functional.

What do you bring?

  • Proven experience with SAS 9 is a must. Experience with SAS Viya is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Linux or Windows operating systems is required. Knowledge of both is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable as well.
  • Knowledge of networking and enterprise IT infrastructure is a plus
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
